Technical Questions About Whisper?
Q: How do I find my serial number? A: The Whisper serial number can be found in three places:
Whisper 100-200
Whisper 500
- On the product manual, there is a sticker with your turbine's unique serial number
- Stamped above the voltage charge cover (land version)
- Inside the metal casting of the turbine (marine only)
Q: My Whisper is not spinning or is spinning slowly, what can I do? A: Check the Whisper controller and look at the LED lights.
- RED LED is blinking: Your turbine is in regulation mode and your battery bank is full. Reset regulation voltage set points.
- RED LED is solid –The turbine is in manual regulation. If batteries are not full, turn off manual regulation through the toggle-on controller or through the display.
- RED LED is off – There may be an issue with the turbine. Contact your dealer or Southwest Windpower.

Warranty/Service Repair
All Whisper 100, Whisper 200 and Whisper 500 turbines are covered under a full five-year warranty. Outside of the warranty period, repair services may be available for a fee.
